The Ascot Bridge Club was formed in 1977 and plays in North Ascot. Although
the bridge is keen, the accent is on a friendly atmosphere. The excellent
team
of directors always ensure that the sessions are run in a relaxed
way. Ascot is affiliated to the EBU and issues masterpoints.
There is bridge played
at the Ascot club every Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening
- except on bank holidays. Whilst the Monday afternoon section
of the club plays exclusively duplicate
pairs bridge, the Tuesday evening section includes teams of four
evenings several times every year.
The club has teams in the Berks & Bucks League of Eight and in the Bracknell Bridge League (Teams of Four)
A teams of four competition is held on the first Tuesday of the month in February, April, June,
August and October.
Heats of county competitions are held and are restricted to club members. National simultaneous
pairs competitions are also held when they correspond to a club night.

The club plays in the Chavey Down Community Centre hall, directly behind
St. Martin's church in Church Road, North Ascot.

The Monday session starts at 1:15pm (as from 4th February 2008). If you are going to be late, please phone Mary on 0775 436 4805
The Tuesday session is at 7:20pm for a 7:30 start
Help is always appreciated with setting up tables etc and clearing up afterwards.
Visitors are advised to contact us in advance in order to avoid disappointment with sim pairs and
team events.
